Rooted in a deep love for nature, Beachmere Escape’s legacy is one of environmental stewardship and a commitment to preserving the biodiversity of our cherished landscapes.
Our vision at Beachmere Escape is to inspire a deep connection with nature and foster a sense of appreciation for the precious ecosystems that we are privileged to be a part of.
Formerly a thriving dairy farm until the late 1990s, this property was lovingly restored by a local family dedicated to returning the land to its natural state. The land boasts an incredibly rare and vital habitat, including a section of littoral rainforest — an ecological gem recognized for its proximity to the ocean and its closed canopy. This unique rainforest seamlessly merges with the mangroves, creating a stunning and diverse ecosystem. Among the many natural wonders are several massive fig trees, with a couple of fallen giants that make for fascinating exploration.
Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that over 70 bird species have been recorded here, including a pair of majestic white-bellied sea eagles that regularly perch in the treetops.
The enchanting beauty of Beachmere Escape is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Cathe and Don, who transformed this land into a natural paradise.
In 2024, Kelly and Adrian stepped in as caretakers, and for a limited time, they are opening this extraordinary property to guests. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience Beachmere Escape — book your stay now before it’s too late!
